This is a GREAT little book - NO FLUFF! Not an encyclopedia! Small with large print and goes straight to the point. It covers everything from how to adjust the volume to programming. After reading this book you will not be a HAM nor will you be ready for the test - but you will know how to operate your radio. He will tell you how to program a repeater but he does not go into repeater operation! There were a few points that I wanted to know more about so I just googled it and got more highly detailed information. Now if there was a book like this for the operation of the dashboard of my 2018 Rubicon I would be happy!
